Discuss and rationalize the importance of reflection in practice and introduce Driscoll’s reflective model.

  • Legal aspects of your chosen scenario e.g. consent, mental capacity
  • Policy, standards and guidelines that inform practice e.g. NICE, DoH, NMC, RCN, WHO, local policies.

Examples of the situations where professionalism, 6Cs, NHS values and ethical considerations may be witnessed could include (but are not restricted to):

  • Competent and compassionate end of life care.
